Christina Schafer graduated from Northeastern State University, Tahlequah, Oklahoma in 1997 with a B.S. in Chemistry. She completed with distinction the Masters of Health Sciences, Physician Assistant Program in 2001 from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

From 2002 to 2007, Ms. Schafer worked as a Physician Assistant at Emergency Care Inc, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 2007, she joined the practice of Neurosurgery Specialists as their second Physician Assistant.
